E-Books
We allow you to read your e-book on several devices belonging to you. But for that a few precautions are necessary. The authorization is made using an Adobe ID that recognizes you and gives you permission. You must therefore respect certain simple rules.
- Authorize your device before opening your ebook for the first time, otherwise your e-book will only be allowed on this device and you will not be able to open it on others.
- You must use the same Adobe ID on all your devices.
- Do not give your Adobe ID and password associated with a third party. An Adobe ID is personal. If others use your Adobe ID, the Adobe system will block access after a certain number of abusive permissions and you will no longer be able to access your e-book.
Buying an e-book (digital book) is buying a right to read. This is a personal, non-transferable right.
In order to preserve the copyright, the e-books sold on this site use the Adobe DRM system, the most widely used system in the world by large publishers. If you have already purchased e-books, it is likely that you already have an Adobe ID. Otherwise, it is very easy and quick to create one for free. The procedure is described on this site in the installation procedures (ver mais abaixo na secção "Qual é o procedimento a seguir para ler o meu e-book?).
This is the Acrobat PDF format that keeps the exact appearance of the paper book that corresponds to it.
You can read your e-book:
- on your computer (Windows or Mac)
- on your tablet (iPad or Android)
- on your smartphone (iPhone or Android)

This error indicates that the book has already been opened with a different Adobe ID or no ID on Adobe Digital Editions.
So you have to check with that the book was not previously opened with another Adobe ID or without an identifier on a computer.

This error indicates that the downloaded acsm file is too old.
The acsm license files have a limited validity period (between 3 and 5 days). They must be open in this period of time.
Pour résoudre ce problème, supprimez le fichier acsm et téléchargez-en un nouveau depuis votre compte client. Puis ouvrez le fichier pour télécharger le livre.
If the problem persists, make sure that the date, time and time zone of your support are correctly set on your computer or on your device. You can check it simply by typing the address http://time.is in the support browser. To change the Date / Time settings:
If you see an error message "Errors were encountered with this item" or "RET_RECORD_CORE_INVALID_CLIENT_CERT" when trying to open an e-book in Adobe Digital Editions whose version is 4.5.7.181275 or 4.5.7.181695, update with a new version of Adobe Digital Editions.
Anyway, it is always better to have the latest version of this program, as we explained on our website in the opening procedures of the e-book.
This error appears when a protected book is opened with a bad or no Adobe ID. So you have to check with that the book was not previously opened with another Adobe ID or without an identifier on a computer.
- If you have mistaken the identifier, you must register the correct identifier in your support. If it still does not work, contact customer service to reset the affected books.
- If you opened your book with Adobe Digital Editions without Adobe ID, contact Customer Service to perform a reset of the affected book (s).

This error indicates that you can not change Adobe Authorization on your PC, even after a NO ID permission.Il faut donc retirer manuellement l’autorisation de l’ordinateur.
Mac :
- In the finder: In the "Go" tab, select "Go to folder"
- Type: ~ / Library / Application Support / Adobe / Digital Editions and move the activation.dat file to the trash.
- Reauthorize Adobe Digital Editions with its Adobe ID.
Windows :
- Click Start > Run. (In windows 7 or 8, use the search function and type "run")
- Type "regedit" in the dialog box and hit Enter.
- Locate the following key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Adobe > Digital Editions" and delete the complete folder (right click on it and click "Remove").
- Also locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Adobe > Adept and delete the complete folder.
This error indicates that the computer's permission is invalid or corrupt.
- Delete the computer's permission in Adobe Digital Editions (ctrl + Shift + D on Windows) or (cmd + Shift + D on Mac).
- Uninstall Adobe Digital Editions (in Control Panel> Programs)
- Install the latest version of Adobe Digital Editions
- Allow the computer
Allow the software in the firewall.
- Open the Windows Firewall
- Click Start> Control Panel> Firewall
- Select the Exceptions tab
- Add an exception for Adobe Digital Editions
- Click on "Add a program"
- Double-click on Adobe Digital Editions in the list
- Click OK

Versions 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 of Adobe Digital Editions regularly generate this error. It is therefore advisable to update them with version 4.0.3
Windows
1. Open Adobe Digital Editions.
2. Press Ctrl + Shift + D on the keyboard and remove the permission from Digital Editions.
3. Uninstall Adobe Digital Editions from the computer.
Click Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
Select Adobe Digital Editions from the list and delete.
4. Delete also the following files.
Click Start > Run. (In windows 7 or 8, use the search function and type "run")
Type "regedit" in the dialog box and hit Enter.
Locate the following key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Adobe > Digital Editions"
Delete the complete folder (right click on it and click on Delete).
Also locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER> Software> Adobe > Adept
Delete the complete file.
5. Download and install Adobe Digital Editions.
6. To authorize the computer, use the same Adobe ID and password as before.
7. Open a book.
Mac
1. In the finder: In the "Go" tab, select "Go to folder"
2. Type: ~ / Library / Application Support / Adobe / Digital Editions and move the activation.dat file to the trash.
3. Re-author Adobe Digital Editions with your Adobe ID.
When you encounter this message, it means that your Adobe ID authorization is no longer recognized by Adobe Digital Editions software.
Contact your Customer Service and request a reset of your eBook link.
