Read your ebook on a Windows PC
Important: Do not try to open your E-Book until you have authorized your Windows PC with Adobe.
Below are the steps to follow in detail to facilitate this process.
To read your ebook on your Windows PC, you can use the free program Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) ou le programme gratuit BlueFire Reader. We recommend BlueFire Reader, unless you are already used to ADE.
STEP 1: Check the version of Digital Editions installed on your PC
For compatibility reasons, you must use version 4.5.9 or later of Adobe Digital Editions (ADE).
Open the Adobe Digital Editions program.
Important: Normally, when you open Adobe Digital Editions (ADE), the program informs you if your version is not up to date by saying, "An update of Adobe Digital Editions is available". If so, click "Update" and follow the process.
Once the update is complete, proceed to Step 2 below "AUTHORIZING YOUR DEVICE".

STEP 1: Install the Adobe Digital Editions program installed on your PC

STEP 1: Check the version of BlueFire Reader installed on your PC
Open the BlueFire Reader program.
For reasons of compatibility, you must check if the version of BlueFire reader is very recent.
To do this, click in the menu on "Edit", then on "Check for updates".
If your version of BlueFire is not up to date, please proceed to its update.
Once the BlueFire program is updated, go to Step 2.
You can proceed to step 2 below "AUTHORIZING YOUR DEVICE".
STEP 1: Installing BlueFire Reader on your PC
You must first download and install the free BlueFire program that allows you to read the ebook.

BlueFire Reader is now installed;
You can go to STEP 2.
You can proceed to step 2 below "AUTHORIZING YOUR DEVICE".
Do not open your E-Book before you have verified that Adobe Digital Editions is already authorized by Adobe, otherwise you will not be able to open it on several devices belonging to you, but only on one.
The E-Book uses the Adobe DRM system. This is the most used system in the world. For this, you must be registered with Adobe. Registration is free and also provides access to thousands of E-Books using this system.
STEP 2: Verify Adobe Digital Editions authorization for your PC
To check it, do the following two tests:
Computer ALREADY AUTHORIZED
Click on the "Help" menu (1), then "Authorization Info" (2).
If a window opens, you are already authorized, and your Adobe ID appears (3).
Computer NOT YET AUTHORIZED
Click in the menu on "Help", then on "Authorize".
If a window opens, you are not authorized on this computer yet.
Click now below on the result that corresponds to your verification:
You can go directly to step 3 below "OPEN YOUR EBOOK".
If you already have an Adobe ID, use it. This allows you to use your E-Book on several devices belonging to you (PC, Mac, smartphone or tablet).
Enter your ID (Adobe ID) and password to authorize your PC.

If you do not have an Adobe account yet, just create one for free. This account will allow you to install your ebook on other devices belonging to you (desktop or laptop, smartphone, tablet).
Click on the "Create Adobe ID" link.
Fill out the form to create your Adobe account. Note the password, because you will need it to authorize your PC (or any other device belonging to you if you want to read your ebook too).
Return to the authorization screen and enter your Adobe username and password to authorize your PC.
You can then go directly to step 3 below "OPEN YOUR EBOOK".
STEP 2: Authorize BlueFire Reader for your PC
Click in the menu on "Edit" (1), then on "Preferences" (2).
Then click on the "Authorize" button (3).
A new window opens.
Follow the instructions below according to the situation that suits you:
If you already have an Adobe ID, use it. This allows you to use your E-Book on several devices belonging to you (PC, Mac, smartphone or tablet).
Enter your Adobe ID and password to authorize your PC.
You can go to step 3 below "OPEN YOUR EBOOK".
If you do not have an Adobe account yet, just create one for free. This account will allow you to install your ebook on other devices belonging to you (desktop or laptop, smartphone, tablet).
Click on the "Create an Adobe ID" link to create an Adobe ID.
You arrive on the Adobe page where you can freely create an Adobe ID. Make a note of your password, you will need it to authorize your devices (PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone).
Return to BlueFire Reader.
Enter your Adobe username and password to authorize your PC.
You can go to step 3 below "OPEN YOUR EBOOK".
When you bought your e-book on tarot.boutique, you can recover it in two ways:
Go to the website of the shop, then click on "My Account" at the top right to log in and access your account.
Once logged in, click on "My Account" again at the top right.
You will arrive on the home page of your account where you can see your orders. Click on the order corresponding to the e-book.
You arrive on the detail page of the order. The name of the e-book you have purchased must be there.
Click or double-click on the file name to open it in Adobe Digital Editions or in BlueFire.
(You can also right-click on the file name to download it to your Mac.)
When the order payment for your e-book has been received, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to download your e-book. Click on this link.
You are redirected to the site of the shop where you must between your ID and your Password.
As soon as you click on the button "Connexion", a window will open to download a file carrying the extension acsm (your e-book) on your computer.
Once saved, simply double-click on this file to open it in Adobe Digital Editions or in BlueFire.
